Tube plane

Way back to the past, last century!

The great poet and sax player Ted Milton who formed in 1979  Blurt, a rough band in between punk-rock and funk attitude.

More funky than the more skinny output of NY parodist James Chance, Ted Milton is a grandiose saxophone player, dissonant "à la Charlie Parker", boucing around and some times pure nevrotic sound collagist, as well a great voice screaming with full of energy, reminding The Ex's atmosphere.

here in "Tube plane", recorded live in Berlin, 1980
with Ted Milton: sax & vocals - Pete Creese: guitar - Jake Milton: drums

The footage is from the Prelinger Archives and Public Domain
