Amon Düül était une communauté artistique, engagée politiquement, et fondée en 1967 à Munich. Issue de cette communauté, deux groupes musicaux distincts sont créés, Amon Düül I, groupe à géométrie variable et Amon Düül II ayant une plus grande ambition et réunissant des musiciens aux idées différentes. Emergence de la scène expérimentale allemande, ils furent, à l'époque, souvent comparés à Pink Floyd. <br />
