Strangely, Leo Brouwer, the main Cuban composer of the twentieth century, is well known for having composed a large number of pieces for guitar, often solo, sometimes concertante with orchestral groups of various sizes’ orchestras. His notoriety is largely indebted to his work around the guitar. But his avant-garde work is, on the other hand, relatively unknown, and particularly this piece ”Manuscrito antiguo encontrado en una bottela”composed in 1983. A unique version recorded by the José White Trio for the AREITO-EGREM label appears on a LP entitled ”Trio White vol. 2 ” published in 1986. No trace on the web of this composition, no sign of its existence or any recording except this one.

Kodumudi Balambal Sundarambal(1908–1980) was an Indian theatre and film actress and singer from Erode district, Tamil Nadu. She performed in Tamil cinema and was referred to as the "Queen of the Indian stage". A political activist during the Indian independence movement, K.B. Sundarambal was the first film personality to enter a state legislature in India.
The french writer Henri Michaux was fascinated by her when he travelled in Asia.

Benoît Montigné - in Sonore-Visuel
"Night Mail" is a documentary directed by Harry Watt and Basil Wright, produced by the General Post Office film unit in England, or how our mail traveled and joined their destination in 1936!This exemplary film, in its time, by its use of concrete sounds of these trains and night workers' activity. The majority of the movie was shot as a silent film with the sound, dialogue, and music added in post-production. The cameraman Jackson recalled there was not "a great deal" of synchronised sound filming while on location, barring some "fragments". With beautiful musical sequences composed by Benjamin Britten at the end of the movie.
